Hi, I'm Tony.

I'm a software engineer with an unconventional path into the field. I started out maintaining fire alarm systems (Simplex), not writing code. Curiosity eventually pulled me into software, and coming in late gave me a perspective on how systems are actually built and maintained that I don't think I'd have gotten otherwise.

That background shapes what I build: software that's simple, functional, and genuinely useful, without unnecessary complexity. AltSendme is one example of that philosophy in practice.

Outside of code, I'm into space and engineering more broadly. Star Wars is my favorite franchise, Super Heavy booster landings in Boca Chica are on my bucket list, and I'm slowly working toward owning a telescope, a server rack, and Starlink.

I'm a strong believer in open source. I think knowledge and tools should be accessible, not locked behind paywalls or aggressive monetization. Sponsoring my work helps me keep building in that spirit.
