Hi everyone,

I've been having issues trying to apply for GitHub Education benefits as a student.

• My school is listed (however it is the school's old name, e.g. it went from "Greenich Academy, Philadelphia" to "Greenich (Philadephia) Academy, Inc." - note that this isn't my school's real name to retain privacy)
• My school does not issue school emails. It isn't a utilised mode of communication - the country mainly uses Facebook Messenger, and when we do use emails, it is our own personal email such as the one I am using to run this account currently. The school heads are not interested in giving me an email, nor are they willing to issue me a statement saying that they do not.
• I am using an enrollment paper with all the necessary details that was issued to me on July 14, 2026.

GitHub Education Support no longer handles individual account investigations, nor does it even handle matters regarding GitHub Education applications as a whole, so I am very lost here. My rejected application emails only redirect me to discussions, but I have not found anything useful.

Does anyone know what I could do?
