Verification Help & Guidance
Hi everyone,
Hello GitHub Education team,
I am a student at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Ukraine). I am currently trying to verify my GitHub Education status, but my application is being automatically rejected.
The issue:
I am a remote learner, and while my university is based in Kharkiv, I am currently residing in France. The automated verification system seems to trigger an error because my current location does not match the university's physical campus location.
What I have done so far:
• I have ensured that my GitHub profile name (LEVKOVSKYI Volodymyr) exactly matches the name on my official student certificate.
• I have a valid student certificate for the 2026 academic year with the university seal.
• Despite trying multiple times and ensuring my browser has location access, the automated system continues to reject the application due to the location discrepancy and the "full-time" status in the document, which the system interprets as requiring physical presence.
As a remote student, I am unable to provide a document that states "
Левковський Володимир Сергійович.pdf
remote learning" because my university issues standard enrollment certificates for all students.
Could someone please assist me with a manual review or advise on how to proceed, given that the standard submission form is not accepting my documents?
Thank you for your time and assistance.
