Yes : ( the UX is terrible and super frustrating The thing is, GitHub's multi-account session manager completely overrides the login hint if the user already has an active session. It just blindly defaults to whoever is currently active instead of the account you requested, making it ridiculously easy for users to authorize with the wrong profile. Until GitHub fixes this to actually pre-select the requested account in the switcher, the only real workaround is to strictly verify the user's identity during your OAuth callback. If they authorized the wrong account, you just have to throw an error on your app's side and tell them to try again. |
