Introduce yourself
Hi everyone, I’m Matthew. I'm a software engineer and solo founder based in Washington Heights, NYC. Back in the day, I was a 911 EMT, but these days I’m channeling that emergency response mindset into tech specifically, solving massive bottlenecks in real-time accessibility.

Where are you in your GitHub journey?
Looking for the latest developer trends
And where are you going next on GitHub?
My next step is deploying optimized multi-agent AI workflows directly to edge hardware and connecting with open-source contributors who want to push the boundaries of real-time accessibility
What technical skills or projects are you working on?
I am building Unmute1Ai, a platform focused on real-time, ultra-low-latency translation for American Sign Language (ASL) and British Sign Language (BSL). Architecturally, I’m deep in the weeds with multi-agent AI frameworks, synchronous intelligence setups, and local inference deployment on the NVIDIA Jetson ecosystem (Orin/Thor). We use 3D kinematic hand-tracking with a robust fingerspelling backup architecture to completely eliminate translation lag.
Excited to connect with anyone pushing the limits of edge computing, local model execution, and breaking down accessibility barriers!
