Initial 2FA setup with SMS: message with the verification code not delivered even after several hours

I'm located in Slovenia, have a feature phone (not a smartphone), and I'm trying to create a GitHub account for the first time. I cannot use Microsoft Authenticator app.

My mobile is connected to the GSM network, I have entered the correct number, but still have not received the SMS message with the verification code. Can you please take a look into it? Thank you very much.
