Hello, I recently re-verified my GitHub Student Developer Pack successfully. I have been using the Copilot student plan for a while. However, after the re-verification, my Copilot access was revoked. I saw the notice about 'new sign-ups for student plans are temporarily paused starting April 20, 2026'. I am not a new sign-up; I am an existing student user who just renewed my educational status. Could you please help reinstate my Copilot access?

I noticed in the official Community Discussion (#192963, FAQ item 9) it states: "Renewing your student coupon early should not remove your Copilot Student access."

I'm having the same issue.
I was subscribed to student pack but upgraded to pro to use opus 4.6 but after that suddenly got removed i fell back to my student pack but for some reason was downgraded to copilot free instead.

did you end up opening a support ticket for this? I submitted mine 3 days ago, but it’s been complete radio silence so far—haven't heard anything back from them yet. Let me know if you get any updates from them, and I'll do the same

We have provided more details about changes to Copilot Individual Plans in this discussion, which may be updated if new information becomes available.

Renewing your student coupon early should not remove your Copilot Student access. If you are having trouble, please contact us.

Same here, no reply nothing. Very disappointed in their current services so I'll probably switch to API usage on just different providers.
