True, performance varies a lot depending on CPU, GPU drivers, and how the emulator handles shader caching and rendering backend. That’s why testing different setups across devices often gives better real-world insights than just following one fixed configuration.

Even small changes in memory allocation or frame pacing can change stability quite a bit, which is why testing different setups across devices is important.

Testing across different systems instead of relying on a single setup is definitely the right approach. Small tweaks involving:

• Vulkan/OpenGL backend selection
• shader cache handling
• CPU governor behavior
• memory optimization
• frame pacing
• thermal management

can completely change emulator stability and FPS consistency on low-end devices.

It is also nice to see more people sharing real-world optimization results instead of only synthetic benchmark numbers.
