When clicking on a footnote anchor e.g.,
[^1]or back in Chromium (Edge, in this case), the banner at the top of pull requests (and presumably issues) overlaps the footnote or original text e.g., Azure/azure-sdk-for-rust#2811 (comment)The browser is no doubt defaulting to putting it at the top of the window, but the banner extents overlap that, thus hiding the footnote or text that links to it.
Here's an example that doesn't look as bad, but does overlap a little:
Where it's really noticeable, though, is when you click from github.com/notifications when the banner is extra high to add more notification features like marking as read/unread, done, go back, etc. At that point the footnote text in the screenshot above was entirely hidden.
